Q: I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. My model has the third row seats. How do I take out the third row seats?
I know how to fold them, but how do I take them out?
A: on the bottom of the seats there are one clip on each mounting bracket
what you need to do is release them and the seats comes right out.

I've taken the vehicle to the dealer numerous times for this problem and they can't diagnose it.
The freon has been checked--it's fine. The dealership has torn everything apart and found no problems. When the air goes off, very humid air comes through the vents, even though we live in an extremely dry climate.
A: Low on freon or maybe a bad low pressure cycling switch.

A: you are in for a bout 2 days of headache..at the bottom of the dash oneach side at about knee level should be 2 large bolts. loosen them for later. go along the top of your dash inthe defrost vents and take out all the screws. lower you steering column. remove the radio and all the other stuff in the center console. disconnect any wiring that is holding yoou back. Buy a manual. There is just too much stuff to list

I have seen some of the generic "keyless entry intructions" on line, but nothing seems to work. My 2004 Tahoe came with a keyless entry, but I can not get it to work since the battery went dead. Does anyone know how to reprogram the remotes or a new remote? Thanks for your help!

A: Could be a bad remote, they sometimes go bad from getting wet, being dropped too many times, or just because.
To find out for sure if it's the remote, take it to your local GM dealer parts department. They'll have a box to test the remote to see if it's working or not, and should test it for free. If they want to charge to check it, go to the next closest dealership.
If you're under your basic 3yr 36k mile warranty the remote itself should be covered under the warranty (but not the batteries, of course). If you're out by a few thousand mles, or just a little bit of time, they might still cover it for you.

A: If you have heated seats and the water soaked through to the heating pad it might has caused a short and blew a larger fuse probably one of the bigger metal jacketed ones in the fuse panel. Hope I could Help!

A: ok on your tahoe you shouldn't have turn the drl on they are wired threw the ignition. they are designed to come on when you have the vehicle in a drive or reverse gear and only then. the best way to tell if they are working is have someone put the truck in gear while it's running, or if you can't find help wait until it's dark out side and press the unlock button on your keyless remote. those lights should come on and stay on for something like 30 sec. or so. if you don't see the lights change the bulbs they are blown. gm has had problems sinse day one with those bulbs blowing. do yourself a faver do not change the bulbs with what is called for. the wattage is actually to much and is the cause why they fail so soon. use the same bulb that is in your tail lights a 3157 is the part # you'er going to want. they are only 2 watts differance and just as bright but will last at least twice as long and also cost alot less. i've done it to several gm trucks including my own. good luck.

A: They are pretty much the same vehicles. Same frame, chassis and transmission. The engine in a Z71 is a 327 V8 and the Denali is a 350 V8. The Denali is all time 4 wheel drive so your gas mileage will suffer quite a bit. The Denali has more "creature comforts" than the Z71 like wood grain, heated seats, more refined components, etc. They are both made by GM and GMC only makes trucks and SUV's. They are both wonderfully reliable trucks. I have a Z71 Suburban that my wife drives. I love it. She doesn't like the size but we have 3 kids that have to be towed all over town so we need the space. The Z71 package is really nothing more than a bunch of stickers and dual colored seats and door panels. The LT Tahoe is the same but all Z71's are 4 wheel drive. NOT ALL TIME 4WD. It all depends on what you like. I would drive both of them and decide which you prefer. The Denali's also have a bearing in the front differential that goes bad and it's very expensive to replace. I would be happy to help you anyway I can. I have been a vehicle inspector(accident inspector) and owned a body shop for 10 years and feel that my expertise in this category is valid. My Z71 rides like a dream. Just make sure if you ever need to replace the tires that you only put Michelin LTX M/S on. You cannot compromise when it comes to safety and smoothness. Good luck.
