Q: How to replace steering column ignition switch 1991 chevy suburban. Where can I get the instructions/pictures?
A dent puller does not work on this vehicle. Tried that when I couldn't get it to turn over with the key. Had to drill it out now it is really messed up. i need to replace the ignition lock and housing.

A: I own a shop, and the best thing anyone on here could tell you to do is this; Go to the library, and take a look at a "Chilton's Repair Manual" that covers your vehicle. You will see from that just what you will have to do to get it out, and hopefully turn your mess back into a workable situation. Q: online help in auto repair to charge the a/c in a 1991 chevy suburban?
we are not sure which "line" is the low pressure line to use to charge the ac.The cans say blue clip is on it but ours both have black clips.Is it the line on top or bottom?Also will this charge the "back"unit also?It has dual ac.

A: I am assuming that your vehicle is already converted from R12 to R 134a? If it is then the hose to recharge the system will only fit on the low side ,so it's almost foolproof.Not sure if it's the top or bottom hose but like I said the hose will only attach to the LOW side.

Q: We have a 1991 Chevy Suburban 1500, are these trucks good?
It has 4WD with a 350 engine.

A: these are basically the same as chevy trucks...and they are very dependable... I just sold my 1988 chevy truck, had 177,000 and engine/tranny had never been rebuilt yet.... ran beautiful just like new.... I trusted it anywhere but needed more cab space.... they are easy to maintain... so long as it is a good runner to begin with and previous owners didn't destroy it before you got it....the 350 is a bulletproof engine that will go many many miles.

Q: will a 1991 chevy suburban grille fit on a 1991 chevy full size blazer?

A: they should be exactly the same. You can swap front clips from 81-91. Q: What is the best car for a teenager?
I can't decide between a 1989-1991 Suburban Diesel, a 1994-1996 Chevy Impala SS, a 1991-1992 Trans Am GTA, or a 90s Cutlass Supreme Convertible. They all get about the same mil age actually. The burb gets around 19 with the diesel. Its big and slow so no tickets with this one. The Impala and the trans am both are fast cool cars but i dont know which is cooler. The Cutlass is a convertible and i love convertibles so i through that in the mix too. I just want peoples opinions about this. I dont want people to say "Oh no, teens shouldnt have a big giants suv or a fast sports car they could do this and that and get in trouble!" because I am not like that. Yes, the Impala and trans am are fast but they would be driven appropriately unless the time was right.
